After doing a few Thames Meander runs over the past couple of years thought I would give this one a go. The Hermes races are always extremely well organised and have a nice atmosphere to them that a lot of bigger local races don’t.
Be careful on the terrain some small areas have tight paths and uneven underfoot (as you would expect on the Thames paths). Would definitely recommend this race.

The race was well organised, the HQ space worked well for registration, changing and baggage, the route along the Thames was beautiful and feature a variety of surfaces. The drink stations were at sensible points along the course. The medal was gorgeous.

Not many supporters on route but a great course. The race has a limit which is good as the paths are narrow on some of the route but i still managed a good time.
Will definitely enter next year

Nice and relaxed, really friendly marshals. I good run to enjoy the scenery.
