Especially appreciating the runners that stopped and helped me up when I fell. Also just the atmosphere around the start/finish, and the music. However the race director needs a megaphone for the race briefing so everyone can hear. I will be back, I love racing at Bewl. Thanks Hermes Running!

What i mean by this specifically is two things:
- the start/ finish line could have a big marquee to provide some shade, it was a really hot day today!
- there was no refuelling station after 14k, the last 7k was tough. The 14k tent would be great at 16/17k

Overall, lovely run route and great organisers

Hot, well organised and friendly. We missed a parking Marshall and water at the end of the race was missing (that’s a minimum requirement for me, so it was disappointed to not have any especially in 21° heat in the shade)

First time completing Bewl Water half marathon! And first half marathon in almost 5 years.. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone looking to get back out there cracking up the miles… what an amazing way to spend your Saturday

Brilliant organisation, well stocked aid stations, super route is why I came back to do it for a second time & will be back again! Thank you

One negative about the event. I was given a 10K lanyard at the finish and told that the half marathon lanyard medals had run out and told to email to request a half marathon lanyard. This is disappointing, given how well the rest of the event was organised. I have emailed my request, no response but hopefully I will be sent the correct lanyard.

Very friendly runners. Don't underestimate the hills.

Tiny feedback for improvement would be to prepare bottles of water at the finish and flap jacks. My first drip of water was 35min after finishing the sunny run. We had to walk to the cafe and wait in a long cue to buy a bottle.

Second feedback is to provide a bit better marking near the finish of the HM as there was some confusion at the last 1.5km. Thank you!

Perhaps a few more signposts for those who haven’t done it before to say all of the distances start from the same place as we weren’t sure. Loved the music at the start/finish. Loved the guy introducing it all. A fab run, considering its smaller that London runs! Will definitely come again in September!

I found the event to be very well organised. It was easy to park, super easy to register (one queue for each event / 10k, HM, Ma, Ultra), the volunteers were all super friendly. The water stations were well packed. It's just a shame they ran of water at the finish a few minutes after I finished but they were going to get more. Overall very pleasant.

Well organised, loved the amount of options at each check point. Great location (a lot of hills haha), good challenge. Wouldn’t recommend to beginners but was a lot of fun to also watch and support marathon and ultramarathon runners along the route! only recommendation would be to make it clear the distance of each check point (e.g. 5K, 12K, 15k etc) just so it’s easier to plan/motivate to the next one!

Overall a good a well organised event. The second water stop wasn’t well positioned, it felt like a really long gap between the first and second which was around the half way point and then a short gap between the second and third. The water stations were well stocked though. The refreshments at the end of the race were quite sparse but the main centre offers good facilities. The medals need to mark the date and distance…

Good race. Parking was a slight issue until they openend up general parking ad the designated parking was full.

More water check points needed

Really need better finishers medals. They are not the Greatest.
